This area is located west of Wharncliffe Road to Wonderland Road North between Oxford Street West and the river. This is a very popular area especially for students attending UWO because it is on a great bus route to the University and is also at a walking distance. Students prefer this area because it is not only close to the university but also close to the downtown area; hence many of the houses in this area have been purchased by many out of town clients sending their child to UWO or just Londoners buying the houses and renting them to students. Since many of these homes are rented/owned by students, one can rent a room in a house; many students like to live together so they have their friends living with them and the landlord is charging for a room in the home rather than an apartment. You are also close to many conveniences. The houses in this area are old and you will find a lot of houses fixed up and then rented. You are also close to the Cherryhill Mall located on Oxford Street as well a the Covent Garden Market on King Street in downtown London.
